The Cycle IV Call for Proposals is now closed.
General Guidelines
- All proposals selected for funding in Cycle IV must be completely implemented by November 30, 2018.
- Applications must be submitted in the Cycle IV proposal template provided below. Applications submitted in anything but the prescribed format will not be reviewed by the selection committee.
- Applications should only include the requested information as the evaluation will be based on only that information.
- The training to be provided must be relevant to the trainees’ substantive occupations.
- The program of training must be employer-driven. The employer must, therefore, play an active role in the development of the proposal and nominate employees to be trained and certified in their substantive occupations.
- Priority should be given to unskilled, semi-skilled and uncertified trainees. Graduate, professional and similar programs will not be considered by the fund.
- The training to be provided should be cost effective and reflect the local market cost of the same or similar program.
- The majority of the budget should be allocated to developing training and certification. Administrative and other ancillary costs should not represent a majority of the funds requested under the CBTF.
