The Competency Based Training Fund, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training (METVT) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) hosted its 3rd Graduation ceremony on June 20, 2018 at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, Two Mile Hill, St. Michael. This ceremony celebrated the successful certification of over 1,000 Barbadians in National and Caribbean Vocational Qualifications by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Council.
Speakers included the Minister of Education, Technological and Vocational Training, the Chief of Operations from the Inter-American Development Bank, the Executive Director of the TVET Council, and three (3) graduates who shared the benefits of the training and certification received under the Fund.
